RP Alba Ltd is committed to conducting its business with integrity, professionalism and transparency. The company adopts a zero-tolerance approach to bribery and corruption and is committed to complying with the requirements of the UK Bribery Act 2010.

This policy sets out RP Alba Ltd’s approach to preventing bribery and corruption in all business activities.

Scope

This policy applies to all activities undertaken by RP Alba Ltd and to any person acting on behalf of the company, including employees, contractors and business partners where relevant.

Legal framework

RP Alba Ltd recognises its obligations under the UK Bribery Act 2010, which makes it an offence to offer, promise, give, request or accept a bribe, whether directly or indirectly, and to fail to prevent bribery.

Prohibited conduct

Bribery and corruption are not tolerated in any form. In particular:

  • No bribe, kickback or improper payment may be offered, given, requested or accepted

  • Facilitation payments are prohibited

  • Improper advantages must not be sought to influence decisions or gain business

This applies whether dealings are with public officials, private organisations or individuals.

Gifts, hospitality and expenses

RP Alba Ltd recognises that reasonable and proportionate hospitality and business courtesies may be part of legitimate professional relationships. However:

  • Gifts or hospitality must not be offered or accepted where they could reasonably be perceived as an attempt to influence business decisions

  • Any gifts or hospitality must be modest, transparent and appropriate to the circumstances

Conflicts of interest

Actual or potential conflicts of interest that could give rise to bribery or corruption risks must be avoided or appropriately managed. Any concerns should be declared promptly.
